By creating an account on the Astrophiles Education Portal you agree that:

• You will not attempt to download, copy, or redistribute course materials without permission

The Education Portal and all its courses are currently provided free of charge. Astrophiles reserves the right to introduce paid tiers in the future with appropriate notice.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, images, videos, course materials, logos, graphics, and designs — is the intellectual property of Astrophiles unless otherwise stated.

• You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our content without written permission
• Embedded YouTube videos are subject to YouTube's own terms of service
• Course notes and PDF resources are provided for enrolled learners' personal use only

Unauthorised use of our content may result in legal action.

5. Events & Workshops

When participating in Astrophiles outreach programmes, workshops, or events:

• Participation is entirely voluntary and at your own risk
• You agree to follow all safety instructions given by Astrophiles team members
• Telescope equipment must be handled responsibly — damage due to negligence may result in a charge
• Photography during events is permitted for personal use; commercial use requires prior written consent
• Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless the event is school-organised
• Astrophiles reserves the right to refuse entry or remove participants who disrupt an event

Event schedules may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. We will communicate changes as early as possible.

6. Payments

• For paid workshops or programmes, full or partial advance payment is required unless otherwise specified
• Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking
• Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
• Payment confirms your booking; a confirmation will be sent to your registered email

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astrophiles shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website
• Weather-related disruptions to outdoor events
• Equipment limitations affecting observation quality
• Injuries resulting from participant negligence during events
• Third-party content linked from our website

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users or via a notice on the website. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
