Our Story

We founded Astrophiles in 2026, but our journey began much earlier during our Master's studies in Physics. What started as friendships built around a shared fascination with the universe soon turned into countless conversations about astronomy, research, education, and how science could be made more engaging and accessible.

As students ourselves, we often felt that space science was taught as something to be memorized rather than experienced. We believed that curiosity truly comes alive when people observe sunspots through a telescope, witness the craters of the Moon for the first time, or simply look up at the night sky with a sense of wonder.

That belief inspired us to create Astrophiles.

Our goal is simple: to bring the excitement of astronomy and scientific exploration to students, educators, and curious minds through workshops, sky observation sessions, educational resources, and outreach programs. We want to make science approachable, interactive, and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of their background.

For us, astronomy is not just about distant galaxies and planets—it is about curiosity, discovery, and asking questions. Every workshop we conduct and every resource we create is driven by the same idea that inspired us when we first began: science should be experienced, not just studied.

We are only at the beginning of this journey, and we hope to continue inspiring more people to explore the universe with the same curiosity that brought us together in the first place.
